Glass Recycling Pickup.

Georgia Glass Co. offers a monthly front door pickup service to make glass recycling convenient and easy because it is essential!

Residential glass pickup programs are underway! “Contact Us” to let us know you are interested and stay informed. Better yet, if you live in the following zip codes, choose a pickup plan if you are ready to start.

We are currently focusing on Gwinnett County.

For almost one million citizens in Gwinnett County, only has 2 designated drop-off locations for glass and that mean at least a 30-minute drive away for some. Unless the parks where the dumpsters are located is part of your “routine” you are going out of your way to drop off recycling making it an inconvenience.

Four years ago, Gwinnett County Government, along with many other Georgia counties, announced that they would remove glass from the single-stream curbside recycling program effective July 1, 2018. In the announcement, the county indicated that options for residents in unincorporated Gwinnett to dispose of glass are now to take it to a drop-off site for recycling or to put it in regular household trash headed for the landfill. Although this made sense for the single-stream process, we believe the lack of glass pickup programs on the same scale is an environmental and economic miss.

Glass can be endlessly recycled, repurposed, and reused.

Take action.
